What the Shelter Says About Me: Sawyer is a magnificently brilliant orange guy that has just recently come to our rescue and is still finding his footing in daily shelter life. Suave. Your heart will scream “hugggg” when you see him! He is an observant young fella who enjoys comfort of close and familiar spaces. He is reserved (to a point), but given time - he is a pure love monkey. Sawyer is easy to handle, responds favorably to all kinds of human contact and dearly loves to drape on your shoulder. His affinity to his cat condo will change once he gets into a family, home and space. He is so sweet despite his large looks and is a creature of habit who would flourish in a family routine. Sawyer currently shares his space at our rescue with an older gal (cat) who treats him more like a son than a condo-mate and they mesh together wonderfully. He relishes food, treats and lots of attention just as long as he can rely on the security of his comfort 'zone'. Sawyer would make a delightful fur baby and teddy cat to hug!
