About Blaze

Blaze Est. DOB 3/2026 Adoption fee: $250 Blaze’s story began when his mom, Ember, wandered into a stranger’s garage searching for a safe place to give birth. Ember climbed into the homeowner’s car and gave birth to five beautiful kittens: Cinder, Sparky, Blaze, Ash, and Hazy. When the homeowner discovered Ember and her babies in their car, they kindly began caring for them and reached out to us for help. Ember definitely chose the right garage that day. Blaze is a handsome long-haired orange tabby… and he definitely knows it! He’s always strutting around with his fluffy tail held high, showing off both his good looks and his larger-than-life personality. As the biggest kitten in the litter, Blaze is charming, playful, and always ready for his next wrestling match. He loves climbing to the top of the cat tree, chasing his siblings around the room, and perching in the window to watch birds and the world outside. Blaze is a high-energy kitten who loves rough-and-tumble play, so he would do best in a home with another playful cat or kitten who can keep up with his antics. Once he's tired out, he turns into a total sweetheart and will happily curl up in the nearest lap for a nap. He loves butt scratches! You’ll usually find him snuggled up with his mom and siblings after a long day of playing. He must be adopted with another cat or into a home with a friendly resident cat, as cats are highly social animals that thrive with companionship. Having a feline friend provides comfort, enrichment, and healthy social development. Blaze and his siblings will be ready to go to their forever homes after June 7th, once they have fully recovered from their spay and neuter surgeries. If you're interested in adopting Blaze, please submit an adoption application at https://www.husshaven.org/adoptable-pets. The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccines, rabies vaccine for cats 6 months and older, FeLV testing for cats under 6 months, FeLV+FIV testing for cats 6 months and older, and treatment for fleas, worms, and other common parasites.
