About Rudder Urgent
Rudder is a striking, large black lab mix who grew up in a loving home but now urgently needs a new start away from Virginia. After living peacefully for years, he and his canine buddy got into trouble for chasing goats—no aggression, but the incident led to a court order requiring him to relocate out of state. Rudder has always been well cared for and displays solid house manners. He gets along with other dogs, loves children, and is even friendly with cats. Despite the circumstances, he’s truly a wonderful and affectionate companion who just needs secure boundaries and a bit of supervision. Transport can be arranged anywhere outside bordering Virginia. Rudder deserves another shot at comfort and safety in a stable environment, where he can put his athletic energy and loyalty to good use. Click apply to start the adoption process.
