🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED - EUTHANASIA RISK🚨 This sweet girl Lily and her newborn puppies urgently need help. 💔 Lily was picked up pregnant and, despite our best efforts, we were unable to secure a foster or adopter before she gave birth. She ended up having her puppies in the shelter around 5/16. While the shelter staff has been kind and caring, the reality is that mom dogs with newborn litters are extremely vulnerable in overcrowded shelters and currently at risk of euthanasia simply because there are not enough resources or space. We are trying to raise funds to transport Lily and her babies to a safe rescue placement where they can finally decompress and have a real chance at life. We are covering all costs for Lily and her puppies, including puppy vaccinations, medical care, food, supplies, vetting for mom, and eventually spay/neuter expenses. Caring for a newborn litter is expensive, and every donation truly helps keep this family safe while we work to find fosters and forever homes. Lily appears to be some kind of Lab/Shepherd mix, around 45–50 pounds, and she has been incredibly sweet despite everything she’s been through. Her puppies are only a few days old and deserve the chance to grow up somewhere safe and loved. If you are able to donate toward their care or transport, foster, adopt, it would mean the world to us.
