Meet Max! He was surrendered to the shelter on 5/12 because his previous family wasn’t able to give him the time, attention, and training that a young puppy needs. Max is already house trained, which is a great start. Volunteers describe him as sweet and friendly, though he can feel overwhelmed in the noisy shelter environment. For his age, he also does a nice job walking on a leash. Max is just 6 months old and still very much a puppy. He will thrive in a home where he can get plenty of love, patience, training, and playtime as he grows. Puppies are wonderful companions, but they do require time, energy, and consistency. Max is ready for a family who can help him learn, grow, and become his very best self. Max is 6 months old, and weighs 45 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms.
