About Skyler

Skyler is a one-year-old Doberman/Husky mix with an athletic build and a striking mix of black, gold, and fawn fur. She’s outgoing and playful, but she also has a gentle, affectionate energy at home. Skyler gets along well with other dogs—though she does need to be fed separately due to mild food guarding—and she’s friendly with children. She’s still working on house training but is already crate trained, and she’s young enough that with some patience and consistency, she’ll pick up the rest quickly. She hasn’t been around cats yet, so that match is uncertain. Skyler loves outdoor adventures and is especially fond of playing in water. She’d do well with an active adopter or family who likes to spend time outside. Her history as a ranch pup has given her a confident but easy-to-enjoy temperament. Transport is available to several East Coast cities; all adoptions are remote, and adopters must meet her at designated drop-off spots. Skyler is vaccinated and will be spayed prior to adoption.
