About Venus
Venus is a lively Doberman/Husky mix with a striking black, golden, and cream short coat who currently lives in McAllen, TX. Venus is young, energetic, and always ready to play, especially if water is involvedβshe can't get enough of it. Her friendly, affectionate nature shines through when she's around people and she does well with children and other dogs. However, Venus needs to be fed separately from other pets due to food guarding. Homes with cats aren't the right fit for her given her prey drive. She is crate trained but still learning the ropes of house training, and since she's at such an impressionable age, regular training will help her become the best companion. Venus is vaccinated and will be spayed as part of her adoption. If you enjoy staying active outdoors and want a smart dog who'll love you back with everything she's got, Venus could fit right in. Venus is available for adoption out of McAllen, TX, with direct transport to several cities along the East Coast, including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Please note that there are no in-person meet and greets; all adoptions are arranged remotely with set drop-off locations. Click apply to start the adoption process.
