Meet Pluto! This very handsome lad hit the adoption floor recently and is ready to find his furever home. Pluto is a one year old German Shepherd around 50 pounds who came in pretty shy and unsure. The fun part is watching him slowly start to open up more each day. We have finally heard his first very Shepherd bark after days of quiet mode and it honestly felt like a big milestone for him. He has a lot of Shepherd qualities so an adopter who knows about the breed, and what to expect or work with would be ideal. He passed his dog-on-dog assessment, walks nicely on leash, and is a friendly guy who just needs a little time to decompress and settle in. Because he can be timid at first, we are currently recommending a home with kids 10+ so he can continue building confidence in a calmer environment and fully show off all his shepherd personality.
