Eleanor is an 8-month-old, 20-pound herding mix (Cowboy Corgi x Border Collie/Australian Shepherd) with an athletic build, joyful personality, and a loyal, loving affectionate side. She is small in size (under 16 inches) and would be perfect to accompany her favorite person to wherever life might take them. Originally from a rural farm, Eleanor is the only female in a litter of four brothers. She is excitable in a happy, engaging way and loves being part of the action. She does get initially nervous around men, preferring women as companions, but warms up with treats and affection. Eleanor absolutely loves to run, play, and wrestle with other dogs. She can hold her own and matches energy well, making her a great playmate for other active dogs. She is also affectionate and enjoys pets, forming strong bonds with her people. Eleanor would do best in an active home that can give her both the physical and mental outlets she craves. She is a fun, driven, and loving young dog who will shine in the right environment.
