Charlie is treat motivated and learns fastāheās in the midst of working on his leash skills and basic commands, but what he really needs is someone patient who truly understands the breed and can give him the structure he craves. Heās shy at first, but very affectionate with his favorite people, and thereās a silly, chatty side once he feels comfortable. If youāre seeking a trail buddy, Charlie is right at home outdoors and lives for adventure, toys, and road trips. He keeps a tidy kennel but isnāt yet house trained. He gets along with other dogs, especially females, and has enjoyed meeting kids at the park, though a home with kind, dog-savvy teens (13+) is best due to his size and exuberance. Cats and small animals are an open question. Charlieās future family should have a secure fenced yard and plenty of time for active play and continued training.
