After spending her entire life with the only family she had ever known, Maddy was surrendered to SBR due to illness in the family. This sweet senior is understandably a little confused and heartbroken as she tries to adjust to all the changes around her. Even so, Maddy has been handling everything with quiet grace and kindness. Her foster family is giving her lots of love and reassurance while helping her understand that she is safe, secure, and cared for. Maddy may need a little time to fully settle in, but underneath it all is a loyal, affectionate girl who simply wants comfort, patience, and a soft place to land.
