About Pippin

PIPPIN DOB: 02/25/24 Black/Brown/Brindle Female AM STAFF/Pittie Mix Sweet Baby Girl, Pippin. Her story is heartbreaking. She was once a loved member of a family. She lived in a home in the neighborhood with a Mom, Dad and children. She was happy and loved her family very much. She was a puppy that grew up in a happy home where she was loved...until the day that it wasn't easy anymore. The family's parents had a personal issue that caused the family to relocate and leave their beautiful loving girl behind. She was a good girl...she waited out in the yard and neighbors began to worry. Why was the dog still in the yard after the family moved? Sweet Pippin sat outside the door wondering when her people would be back. And they never returned. One couple couldn't stand it and took her to the Franklin County Dog Shelter so she wouldn't be outside without care. But after they learned that there was a possibility that the sweet dog that they already loved from afar could be euthanized if not adopted fairly quickly, they pulled her and contacted PetPromsie agreeing to foster her until a good family willing to love her forever was found. For the first month, she stayed by the window in her foster home looking out...like she was watching for her family to come back. She is adjusting well, ad though a little shy girl for a few minutes she wars right up and her sweetness shines. She does well with other dogs but hasn't been around cats yet. She is potty trained, a good girl and loves people. If you want to make a difference in the life of a little girl that has been heartbroken....this is your chance. It may take her some time to really believe that she won't be discarded again...she still yearns for a person/family of her own that will love her forever. If you are ready to make a lifetime commitment to care for and love this very special girl for the next 10-55 years through thick and thin (not just until itโ€™s not convenient) and are ready to welcome this baby into your home, please complete an adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/223107373504044 We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes. We do not have a shelter or sanctuary. All pets are cared for in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. We require a home visit as part of the application process. In general, we are only able to coordinate home visits where we have volunteers available to do the home visit.
