About Pippin

Pippin’s story isn’t easy. She grew up in a loving family, living with kids and plenty of affection, but when life changed for her people, she was left behind. Neighbors noticed her sitting by the door waiting for her family to return, but they never did. A compassionate couple took her in so she wouldn’t be left outdoors alone, and now she’s in a foster home, learning to trust again. She’s a medium-sized American Staffordshire and Pit Bull mix with a short, black and brown brindle coat. She’s adjusted well, even if a little shy for the first few minutes—her sweet personality shows through once she warms up. Pippin does well with other dogs and is fully house trained. She hasn’t been around cats yet. She’s affectionate with people and still looking for someone who won’t give up on her. Pippin needs a home ready for a real commitment. She wants someone who will understand that it might take her a little while to settle in, but once she does, she’ll be loyal for life. Click apply to start the adoption process.
