Sullivan is a medium-sized, short-coated male Pit Bull Terrier mix with a beautiful gray and blue coloring. He is a senior who has been neutered, is house trained, and his vaccinations are all current. Sullivan is currently in Columbus, OH, and has shown he can get along with dogs, cats, and children. He does require daily thyroid medication for an ongoing condition, but this hasn’t slowed down his loving and playful personality.

About Sullivan

Sullivan is a lovable, resilient boy who was found wandering alone and in rough shape—hair missing, skin badly infected, and red, swollen paws. After treatment and lots of TLC, his coat is coming back in and his skin has cleared up. He’s estimated to be 6 to 8 years old, but all that means to Sullivan is that he appreciates the little things: chasing a tennis ball, a good tug game, and crawling right into your lap for some affection. Sullivan has undergone surgery to remove some cysts and mast cell tumors, all successfully, with no further treatments needed. He’s also hypothyroid, so he’ll need daily medication for life. Despite past hardships, Sullivan keeps a playful, optimistic attitude and charms everyone he meets. He’s shown he can get along with dogs after a gentle introduction, though more testing is needed to confirm the right match. When it comes to cats, he’s pretty curious, so he’ll need supervision and a careful introduction. Sullivan is house trained and neutered, and he is up to date on vaccinations. He’s seeking a dedicated adopter in the Columbus area, age 24 or older, who is ready to meet his needs and offer him the playful, loving home he deserves. Ready to fall in love?
