General Notes | Ollie is a social butterfly who truly believes that a stranger is just a best friend he hasn't met yet. He has a joyful, balanced energy, and he is always up for a fun outdoor adventure, a game of fetch, or a neighborhood stroll, but he is just as quick to settle down at your feet when it's time to relax. He has an intuitive, sweet nature and a tail that seems to have a permanent wag setting whenever his humans are near. Highly intelligent and motivated by a good treat (and even better praise!), Ollie is a quick learner who is eager to please. He is looking for a forever family that will include him in their daily life, embrace his fun-loving spirit, and give him plenty of belly rubs in exchange for a lifetime of devotion. He loves to play or just hang out with his foster siblings. Cats | Not sure. Children | No children in foster home. Training | Ollie is fully house trained! And, he figured out the dog door in one day. He also does great in the crate, goes right in and never complains. Leash | Ollie is good on the leash! No pulling. Activity Level | Moderate. Ollie is happy playing with his foster siblings or just chilling with his people. Just a happy dog! Personality | Ollie is a happy, very friendly and calm boy! He is a quiet dog, his foster family has yet to hear him bark. He is still learning how to play with toys, but he is catching on quickly! Story | Ollie was found as a stray in south TX. Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog). Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page! We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the time of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
