This 2-year-old Norfolk Terrier spent the beginning of his life as a breeder dog in Houston (we think) never really getting the chance to simply be someone’s beloved companion. When he was finally brought to safety, the world was still big, unfamiliar, and a little scary for such a tiny guy. And true to his name, Squeak is still finding his voice. Squeak doesn’t need a fast-paced life or grand adventures. He just needs a soft place to land, a calm home, and someone willing to celebrate the little victories with him — because for dogs like Squeak, learning how to trust is the adventure. Squeak is currently heartworm positive and has already started the slow-kill treatment process. His future family will need to continue his monthly care while giving him patience, kindness, and time to adjust to life as a cherished pet. To help set him up for success, we will provide 6 months of Advantage Multi to continue his treatment plan and keep him on the right track toward a healthier future. As a fee-based adoption rescue, we do not operate on monthly support or fund raisers. Our adoption fee is $350, and transport is arranged for post-adoption.
