About Ruby D
Ruby D has lived through hardship and proved her strength in remarkable ways. Abandoned while pregnant, she protected and raised her entire litter alone, ensuring every puppy survived, even when life was stacked against her. When animal control first picked her up, she carried a certain wariness and caution, but it hasn’t defined her. With time and patience, she revealed her true nature—smart, quick to learn, deeply affectionate, and brimming with energy. She’s a mix of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, equal parts beauty and brains, with a spirit that’s unshakeable after what she’s endured. Now, with her puppies almost all found their own families, Ruby D deserves her turn to rest and experience security. She’s the kind of dog who thrives when both mind and body are engaged, so she’ll need a family that appreciates her active side and honors her loyal heart. Ruby D gets along well with other dogs, but she doesn’t do well with cats. She’s ready to leave her challenging past behind and become someone’s loyal companion for life. Born March 5th, Ruby D is a Pisces, a sign known for resilience and empathy. Click apply to start the adoption process.
