She is an 8-year-old American Bulldog who has been in the shelter since 4/13/2026 and is urgently seeking a foster home due to ongoing heartworm treatment and her extended stay. She is calm, highly social with people, and thrives on human companionship. Shay is housebroken and crate trained (BONUS), making her an easy addition to most homes. She is indifferent to other dogs, so she would do well as an only pet or with other calm dogs, but an experienced dog handler is recommended to help her adjust in her transition. Given her age and medical needs, a quiet, supportive environment will help her recover and enjoy her golden years.
