Meet Leif Hi! My name is Leif, and I’m a 4-month-old male Husky mix with the sweetest soul and a gentle, loving nature. My siblings, my mom, and I were found dumped at an abandoned house when I was only about 2½ weeks old — right before the winter freeze. Thankfully, the rescue stepped in just in time to bring us somewhere safe and warm, giving us the chance to grow into happy, healthy puppies. Now I’m the last of my litter still looking for a home… but my foster says I’m also the sweetest and the calmest of them all. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I feel safe, my true personality shines. I’m incredibly affectionate and love nothing more than being snuggled. I’ll happily melt into your arms and soak up all the love you’re willing to give. While I’m still very much a puppy (and yes — I have my playful, silly Husky moments!), I tend to be more on the medium energy side and a bit more laid-back compared to my siblings. I enjoy playtime and exploring, but I’m just as happy settling in for cuddles and quiet time with my people. Leif is also doing wonderfully with his training — he’s making great progress with both potty training and crate training and is already building a strong foundation for his future home. I just need a family who will give me a little patience at first and help me continue building confidence — and in return, I’ll be the most loyal, loving companion you could ask for.
