5/17/2026 Murphy V is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Murphy! I am a handsome 2 year old boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner starting work with a full time schedule. I am described as friendly, protective, playful, and affectionate! I am said to be dog friendly and do well at dog parks and when visiting family that has dogs. I have lived with a cat and we do not get along, so I will need a cat free home! I am said to be kid friendly, house trained, and crate trained! I eat dry food with warm water added and will sit and wait to be served with command. At night I sleep in my kennel and if the humans must be away, I will cry for a couple minutes and then be fine. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. If I am outside and I see a bush, I will throw myself in it and give myself my own back scratch. I am fearful of the mop and vacuum and will try to destroy it, so those chores should be done when I am not out. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, stuffed animals, bones, cuddling, and snuggling next to the humans!
