5/9/2026 Dixie III is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Dixie III! I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to changes in my family's dynamics and no one is able to care for me. I am bonded to my companion, Rambo, and it is important that we are adopted together, which means double the boxer love! I am described as friendly, shy, active, smart, calm, playful, affectionate, nervous, and obedient! I am said to get along with other dogs great, however I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There are 5 children in the home (ages 3-19 years) and I am said to be kid friendly! I am crate trained but will need assistance with house training in my forever home. At night I sleep inside or outside in a kennel and if the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I do not dig but I am capable of jumping kiddie gates/fences. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, bones, attention, to be free and run, and love! My current owner says I am "very sweet and loving" and I agree!
