About Marge
Marge and her sister Willa were left behind when their family moved, but they’ve stayed close ever since. Now these two are searching for a new home—ideally together, though separate matches may be possible for the right adopters. Both are around two years old and likely boxer or Boston terrier mixes. Marge weighs about 35 lbs and comes in at medium size. She’s extremely sweet, loves cuddling, and tends to worm her way into your lap for as much affection as you’ll give. Marge is as submissive as she is loving, and she gets along well with other dogs as well as kids. Right now, Marge and Willa are participating in the Arkansas Paws in Prison program where they’re working on basic obedience, house training, leash manners, and some tricks. Both are undergoing heartworm treatment and won’t be ready for their new family until July. The girls are bonded and happiest together, but can adjust to separate placements. Adoption is local to Arkansas or available via transport to the northeast, with pick-up in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. They’re looking for a soft landing and someone who appreciates their gentle, affectionate nature. Give them the second chance they deserve and a family that lasts. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
