About Maggie Aka Ruby

Meet Ruby, also known as Ruby Roo. At just 9 months old, she’s picked up on basic commands, is house trained as long as she’s kept on a schedule, and is ready for a loving family. She probably has some heeler or Aussie in her, which shows in her playful but eager-to-please personality. Ruby has lived with both dogs and cats and generally gets along well with both—just keep in mind she still has puppy energy and sometimes plays a little rough with feline friends, though she doesn’t mean any harm. She lived with a young child previously and would do well in a family setting. Ruby can be timid around new people or situations, the result of an abusive past, but she warms up quickly and is a true cuddler once she trusts you. She travels well in the car, behaved perfectly at the vet, and just wants to find a home that will make her feel safe. If you come to pick her up, she’ll need to leave on a martingale collar for her own security. Preference for a fenced yard, but it’s not mandatory. Ruby will be spayed in mid June (covered by the adoption fee if done through an approved vet). Ruby is in Union Grove, WI, waiting to find her place. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
