Barack is a 13 years, 1 month old male Large Mixed Breed who weighs 94 pounds. Meet Barack, a truly special 13-year-old pittie with so much love left to give. This gentle, soulful boy is looking for a soft place to land after losing his person and the life he knew. Despite all the changes, Barack has remained incredibly kind and open-hearted. Barack is currently on medication to support some weakness in his rear, and he is taking it all in stride. He still enjoys getting around, and his sweet spirit shines through in everything he does. At the shelter, he had a lovely meeting with another senior dog and happily offered play, reminding us that joy doesn't fade with age. In his previous home, Barack was known to be friendly with kids and other dogs. He is the kind of companion who will quietly stay by your side, soaking up love and offering it right back. Barack deserves comfort, patience, and a home where he can feel safe again - and a home that can join him on a bit of a weight loss journey.
