Haddie
AvailableHaddie is a 4-year-old, 3-month-old, medium-sized mixed breed dog with a sweet temperament. She is a spayed female who is vaccinated and house trained. About Haddie
Haddie started her journey in a rural shelter, withdrawn and overwhelmed. Once safe in Atlanta with a foster, it became clear that she had a gentle, timid character shaped by a rough past. She gets along with other dogs and is polite with cats but doesn't seek them out—preferring the company of her person most of all. Haddie handled an unexpected pregnancy like a pro, raising eight strong puppies before they found their own homes. Confidence isn't something Haddie was born with, but it’s grown steadily. Now she’s a sweet, loving four-year-old looking for a stable family. She’s quiet, easy to live with, and could thrive as a solo pet or alongside friendly dogs. Cats, however, are not a fit for her new home. As is often the case for dogs from rural areas, Haddie did test positive for heartworm disease; her rescue has initiated slow kill therapy and provides treatment. Once finished, she’s expected to enjoy a normal, healthy life. If you want a dog who’ll stick close and adore you, Haddie is waiting in Dunwoody, GA. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
