Bonnie, the Sweetest Boy! Contact: dcmcats@yahoo.com This sweet precious cat Bonnie started his life out as a feral kitten. He and his sister were fixed under a TNR program. Sadly, his sister did not make it outside. Bonnie became a favorite kitty of his caretaker and he began to trust humans. Recently he disappeared and his caretaker searched for him. Then 10 days after he went missing, she heard him crying in a neighbor’s attic where he got locked in accidently. His caretaker rescued him and took him to the vet. He was all skin and bones! She nurtured him back to health, giving him fluids and feeding him with a syringe to get him eating again. Thankfully, in a few days his appetite came back and he started regaining his weight! His rescuer also discovered how sweet he really is! Bonnie is super loveable and friendly! He enjoys having his belly and underarms rubbed and he likes to cuddle on you. Bonnie loves kisses and will nibble sweetly on your fingers. He is curious about things, and will roll over to get rubbed and pet some more! Bonnie is eating well now and is continuing to gain back his weight and is a healthy boy again! He now weighs 8.8 lbs. He is enjoying his can food and treats! Bonnie received shots and testing when he was neutered at age 6 months. He is now 2 and a half years old. Since he was outside with other feral cats and got along well, he can be placed in a home with other mellow cats as long as his adopter gives him updated shots and testing. Or he can be adopted solo. Since he was so stressed being locked in, he began shedding. He does have a thick Russian Blue type coat, so he needs daily regular brushing. He is not full Russian Blue (his mom is Tabby), but his appearance is, as he is all grey with no stripes. Normally cats of this breed only shed twice a year. We are looking for a quiet home for him where someone or a nice family can show him lots of love, and spend time with him hanging out and giving him pets and cuddle time. He truly is the sweetest cat you will ever meet!
