About Bun Aka Trigger
Bun (also known as Trigger) has seen his share of hard days, but he’s bounced through every one of them with surprising cheer. When he first left the shelter back in February, Bun was in rough shape—missing almost all his teeth, a bloody ear, squinty eyes, an unneutered tom caked in worry. Despite it all, he greeted every hand with a sunny outlook and buckets of sweetness—something that never left him through a handful of surgeries: a thorough dental, neutrering, ear polyp removal, and eyelid correction. Now, he’s a content, silly guy with a mischievous glint in his good eye, ready to curl up beside you or chase toys like a younger cat. Bun’s health background reads like a novel: he’s FIV positive, asthmatic (which he manages brilliantly with his aerocat inhaler), and most recently toothless. None of this slows him down. He’s learning leash walking for outdoor jaunts and would enjoy the company of another friendly cat. Bun is estimated at 3–5 years old, short-coated, gray and white, and is good with kids and other cats. He’s been spoiled in his Charlottesville foster home and is ready to brighten up his adopter’s days the way he lights up a room. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
