About Tanya
Tanya is a striking 2-year-old dilute calico who spent months living as a stray on someone's property before entering the shelter. Life indoors feels overwhelming to her, and she remains quite wary of people or close handling, choosing instead to keep a cautious distance and quietly observe her surroundings. She’s not aggressive, just deeply uncertain and skittish with humans, and prefers things to stay low-key and predictable. Right now, Tanya would be best suited for a barn, shop, or working-cat environment. She could possibly adjust to an extremely patient home that can give her a long window to decompress, but she is far from being a cuddly companion in the near future. Tanya is spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations, so she’s ready from a health perspective. Matching Tanya with the right environment will allow her to live with as little stress as possible. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
