About Cookie

Meet COOKIE! As of May 16, 2026, she is 4 months old and 21.6 lbs. Best guess on breed is a German Shepherd/Lab + many other breeds! We think GSD simply based on his look, but she’s a typical island dog Sato! We named her Cookie because she really IS that sweet. She’s always smiling, tail wagging. Very cuddly and loves all people! We think she looks like a Snickerdoodle cookie :) She loves to jump up and give kisses as you can see (we are working on his manners but she simply just wants loving!). She is great with other dogs and is currently being fostered with several other dogs and is wonderful with them. She likes to play! She’s make a wonderful canine companion for another dog. She’s also great with kids! Energy wise, she had medium to high energy (6-7 on a scale of 1-10). She’d be a great walking or light hiking buddy! She has seen a veterinarian and is appropriately vaccinated. She’s ready to go! ***Cookie is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will only fly to her forever home once adopted! We are open to adopters in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast.*** Please feel free to email us with any questions about her! We are a small boutique rescue and respond promptly. Your email will not get lost! The best fit for the dog is our priority. Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog. In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
