Wonderful Willow is waiting for her forever home! 💕🐾 Willow is a pretty 1.5-year-old, 14.6-pound, mostly white Poodle mix with a playful spirit and so much potential. She arrived at AFC as a stray alongside Wynter, who we believe may be her mother. Poor Willow came in covered in fleas and ticks, and her hair had been cut very short — but despite her rough start, this sweet girl is ready for a fresh beginning. Willow is shy at first and will need a patient, experienced adopter who can help her learn what it means to be a loved and pampered companion. Once she feels comfortable, her happy personality starts to shine! She gets excited for walk time, walks nicely on leash, loves running around the sanctuary yard, and has learned to use the doggie door. She is still working on house training and is getting used to the routine of going outside on command. Willow would enjoy the company of another dog in the home. One thing to know about Willow — she can be a very vocal girl! Because of this, she needs a house rather than an apartment or condo.
