Rascal is a young male Maltese mix, estimated to be about a year old or less, and he is pure love. His favorite place in the world would be curled up in your arms forever. When Rascal was rescued from the shelter, he was terrified. Abandoned, severely matted, underweight, and shivering with fear, he had clearly been through more than any dog should ever experience. Since coming into foster care, he has slowly started learning that the world is not such a scary place after all. With patience, love, and the guidance of his foster pack, his personality is beginning to shine. Rascal absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has even learned that coming nose to nose with a cat is nothing to worry about. He has a wonderful appetite now and loves treats, although at first he had no idea what treats even were. His best feature? His tail! It’s almost as long as he is and never seems to stop wagging.
