About Astrid Sweet Little

Meet Astrid — your sunshine‑soft, playful companion in the making Astrid is a 4–5‑month‑old Collie mix (maybe with Great Pyr but she doesn't have double dew claws in the back) with the softest cream‑and‑peach coat and bright, curious eyes that sparkle every time she discovers something new. She’s about 32lbs now and expected to grow into a beautiful 50–55lb adult. She has long legs and a long tail and is ooooohhh so pretty! This girl is pure joy in puppy form. She loves people, adores her four‑legged friends, and is convinced that every toy ever made was designed just for her. Goofy, playful, and full of irresistible puppy charm, Astrid brings a little burst of sunshine wherever she goes. Astrid can be a tad shy when meeting new people — just a brief pause (it literally takes less than 5 minutes) to make sure everything feels safe. But give her a moment (and maybe a soft voice or a treat), and she warms up quickly, revealing her sweet, sunny personality. Why You’ll Love Her Potty trained and smart as a whip Leash‑training is underway, and she’s picking it up quickly. Gentle and polite when taking treats Family‑friendly, people‑loving, and eager to learn Always ready for playtime, adventures, belly rubs and snuggles Her Ideal Home Astrid would thrive with: A family who has time to help a puppy grow and learn A fenced yard for zoomies, exploring, snoozing and sunbathing A dog sibling to romp and tumble with Health & Adoption Info Up‑to‑date on vaccines, deworming and microchipped Astrid is a playful sweetheart wrapped in a fluffy cream‑peach coat. One look into those bright, intelligent eyes and you’ll understand why everyone falls for her. If you’re ready for a puppy who brings laughter, love, and sunshine wherever she goes, Astrid can’t wait to meet you. Additional Notes Astrid is still very much a puppy and will need continued training as she grows. She would do best in a home with another friendly dog who enjoys playful, rough‑and‑tumble fun. She does have typical puppy mouthiness — never aggressive, just enthusiastic — and will benefit from gentle guidance as she learns good manners. Will need to be spayed between 6–12 months; we provide a $100 rebate once completed by your vet or you can have her spayed at no cost at one of our Houston vets. Adoption fee is $425.
