About Beefy
Beefy, also known as Beef Wellington or Welly, is a deaf Pit Bull Terrier soaking up the comforts of home life for the first time. He’s quick to pick up cues from his foster siblings, curious about his surroundings, and has no shortage of affection for everyone he meets. His foster parents have been teaching him to communicate in new ways, and he relies on his keen nose and sharp observation. Beefy loves hanging out near the action—if he can see his people, he’s content. Comfort around other dogs comes naturally to him, and while Beefy’s gentle taking treats and loves kisses, his foster believes a home without small children would be best. He’s learned that his crate is a safe spot and is reliably house trained. Sunbathing, playing with toys, and sticking close to the "pack" are a few of his favorite things. He’s happiest sharing space with another dog and people who understand his unique view of the world. Beefy is ready for a steady, loving home that appreciates his particular charms and Deaf-dog smarts. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
