About Porter
Porter is one of the Beer Pups trio—Barley, Hops, and Porter—who grew up surrounded by kids, other dogs, and all kinds of farm animals before their family had to relocate to a townhouse. After being found as tiny pups last summer, they've grown into social, steady medium-sized hound mixes and have picked up leash manners and house training along the way. Transitions have made Porter and his brothers a bit timid at first, but they're warming up fast and show their friendly side to anyone patient enough to earn their trust. Porter’s ideal for just about any household, whether big or small, and he’s used to routines with people, animals, and new environments. As with any puppy, ongoing guidance is key: daily structure, clear boundaries, consistent training, and a bit of patience will go a long way. Including everyone in the family—kids and adults alike—in his training will help make sure Porter feels right at home and grows into a confident adult dog. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
