About Avery

Avery is part of a charismatic pair with her brother Broono, both 10-year-old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mixes who have known only one another their entire lives. Their story began in the hands of a caring young girl who, after her mother's passing, made the difficult decision to find them a new loving home. Avery is housebroken and crate trained, so daily routines are smooth and stress-free. She and Broono start out shy around new faces but warm up once snacks enter the picture. Snacks and belly rubs quickly turn shyness into trust, revealing her affectionate side. These siblings once lived peacefully with another small dog but now would prefer the comfort and predictability of being the sole canines in their new home. They are gentle with calm, older children but do best in a quieter setting without cats. The adoption fee for the bonded pair is sponsored, and it covers spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, 30 days of pet insurance, a bath and nail trim, plus lifelong training support. Adoptions are by appointment, so if Avery sounds like a match, take the next step. Your new best friend is just one click away.
