MARL ARRIVAL: Owner Surrender BACKGROUND: Fred is a sweet little Shih Tzu with a calm and easygoing personality that makes him impossible not to love. Though he only has one eye, Fred doesn’t let that slow him down one bit, he takes life in stride and is happiest just being close to his people. He’s a quiet, affectionate companion who enjoys gentle attention, cozy naps, and spending time by your side. Fred has a soft, loving nature and would make a wonderful addition to a calm home looking for a loyal little friend to spoil and adore. COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Fred has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats. MEDICAL NEEDS: Fred came to MARL after already having one eye removed prior to his arrival. He does have limited vision in his remaining eye and requires daily artificial tears to keep him comfortable, but at this time he does not need any additional medication or treatment.
