💙 Meet Chops 💙 Chops is a sweet senior boy who came to us through dog control and, heartbreakingly, was never claimed. But you'd never know it from his gentle, loving nature. This handsome guy is all heart. He's calm, kind, and just wants to be near his people. He seems pretty tolerant of other dogs, and one of his absolute favorite things is being outside--soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the fresh air. After everything, Chops is still trusting. Still loving. Still hoping. Senior dogs like Chops have so much love to give--they just need someone to give them a chance. From the person who found Chops: I wish I could have kept him he was like my best friend he seemed to like me more than my fiance he was up my butt!! and when we found him here we didn't really have toys so we gave him bottles with caps on it and he loved to chew off the tops and chew on the bottle, I also had a soft ball and he absolutely loved tearing that apart as well!! And he's a big huge blanket fan, I let him use my blanket but it was dirty when I had the dog warden come get him so he couldn't bring it with him and I was going to let him keep it and whenever you open a can of Vienna sausages around him he'd get so excited we had him for a couple weeks trying to find his owner but nobody claimed him:( I really hope he gets the best family in the world he deserves the world and I really wish I could've kept him but my landlord didn't want me to so I had to surrender him after a couple weeks of trying to find his home.) He also is scared of loud noises & thunder.
