About Piper
Piper is a twelve-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever with a mellow, dignified spirit and a lot of love left to give. After losing her previous person, she’s searching for a peaceful home to spend her golden years. Piper weighs about 70 pounds and has a gentle way with people and other dogs alike. She’s fully house trained, has good manners, and doesn’t require a crate to behave—though she’s crate trained if needed. Piper knows several basic commands, including “sit,” and even tries to “shake,” though her back legs can be a little unsteady nowadays. One of her endearing habits is carrying her food bowl around, which always earns a smile from her foster mom. Piper needs a calm environment where she can relax and feel at home. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. If you’re looking for a quiet, affectionate senior to share your days with, Piper is a wonderful choice who will give as much as she gets. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
