Pennie is an exceptionally intelligent, friendly, and affectionate 2 year-old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix who dreams of finding her forever home! She was a volunteer favorite at the shelter in Southern California, and her sweet nature and bright mind made it impossible to leave her behind, so we brought her to New England to search for her pack. She is in foster care and her foster absolutely raves about her: friendly to all, people and dogs, and is wonderful with small children. Pennie learns quickly, walks beautifully on a leash, is crate-trained and house-trained, and eager to please. She is gentle with toddlers, welcoming to new people, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s a perfect houseguest – respectful in the home and not destructive when left alone. Pennie is very loving and just wants to be by her humans, whether that means going for a walk, hike, hopping in the car for an adventure, or snuggling on the couch. Her intelligence and devotion make her a truly special companion.
