This lovely lady came to us from another area shelter when they were overwhelmed with an influx of dogs. Gorgeous Gertie is only about a year and a half old but being the shepherd she is, she's smart, attentive and oh so eager to experience all that life has to offer. Gertie is anxious to expand her horizons with an adventurous outdoor companion. Given her intelligence, energy and desire to be busy and challenged, Gertie would love a job to do. Perhaps she has the makings of a search and rescue dog, a scent dog or some other form of canine employment! Gertie is a fun-loving party kind of gal, always ready to play and make a game out of just about anything! Gertie is ready to sign up for doggie obedience classes to reach her full potential.
