About Clytie

Clytie β€” Sweet, Gentle, and Hoping Someone Notices Her Clytie (pronounced KLY-tee) has a name as unique and beautiful as she is. At just 1Β½ years old, this striking lynx-point girl has soft blue eyes, beautiful markings, and an affectionate personality that quietly wins people over. She enjoys being near her people, following along from room to room, curling up nearby, and simply being part of everyday life. One of the things that makes Clytie so special is her gentle, comforting presence. She’s the kind of cat who makes a home feel calmer and cozier just by being there. While she can be a little shy at first in a new environment, once she feels safe, her sweet personality truly shines. Clytie also has a playful side and still enjoys toys and little bursts of kitten energy. She loves soft beds, sunny spots, and spending time near the people she trusts. Her unusual name comes from Greek mythology and means β€œone who turns toward the sun,” which feels fitting for a cat who naturally seeks out warmth, comfort, and companionship. Clytie would do well in a loving indoor-only home where she can settle in at her own pace and become part of the family. She may also do well with respectful children and other friendly cats. She is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV-negative, and litter-box trained. Her adoption fee is $250, which helps cover her veterinary care and supports the rescue efforts of Paw Pals, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. If you’ve been looking for a sweet, beautiful companion with a gentle soul, Clytie would love to meet you. Paw Pals maintains a firm no-declaw policy, and all cats are placed in loving, indoor-only homes where they can stay safe, healthy, and happy. Paw Pals will consider adoptions outside our immediate area, but we require in-person pick-up to ensure every match begins with a meaningful connection.
