About Casper
Meet Casper! This five-year-old Siamese is the definition of easygoing and mellow. Casper has adapted to life with paralyzed back legs following a spinal cord injury but refuses to let that slow him down. He’s mastered scooting around in his own style—unbothered and often content to lounge in cozy corners, soaking up the company of his humans. Casper does need help with his bathroom routine and requires to be expressed a few times each day; he takes it all in stride and is known for his steady patience and willingness during care. His gentle, loving nature means he’s quick to win hearts, and his resilience inspires everyone he meets. Casper gets along well with other cats, dogs, and children. The rescue asks potential adopters to plan a few in-person meet-ups, making sure you’re comfortable and confident with Casper’s care before taking him home. He’s looking for a place where he’ll be accepted for who he is—flaws, quirks, and all. If you want a companion who brings calm and quiet joy, give Casper a shot.
