Meet Smoke This handsome boy is joining House of Hope from North Carolina and is estimated to be around 6–7 years old. Smoke came from a breeder situation in the county and is already stealing hearts with his gentle presence. He did test slightly heartworm positive, and we will ensure he receives the care and treatment he needs. Right now, Smoke is understandably a little unsure — he is scared of the leash, but we know with patience, kindness, and consistency, he is going to learn that the world is a much safer place than he’s known so far.
