About Maggie
Maggie is a small, adult Chihuahua mix who has weathered a tough past but hasn’t let it harden her spirit. She’s about eight years old and has proven herself to be a gentle, quiet presence—rarely barking, and content to lounge by your side. Potty trained and fully vetted, Maggie prefers snuggling up on the couch to bustling activity, making her a true couch potato companion. She’s the sort of dog who melts into you when given the chance and whose calm nature is ideal for a peaceful home. Maggie gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, so she’ll easily fit into homes with existing pets or kids. She was rescued alongside another dog, Millie, but they are fine being adopted separately. Her rescue is looking to bring her from Tennessee to the right home in New Jersey, where a fully fenced yard and homeownership are required. Foster-to-adopt is possible to ensure everyone finds the right fit. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
