About Fig
Fig is a small, mixed-breed pup just about a year old and nearly full grown at 25 lbs. He’s a bit shy when you first meet him, but it doesn’t take long before he’s giving kisses and sticking close to your side. Fig really loves his toys, doing zoomies, and especially snuggling up with his people. He sticks close and wants to sleep with you or at least nearby in a crate for comfort. In his foster home, Fig’s shown he does well with dogs of all sizes and takes well to cats, too. He isn’t happy as an only dog, so he’ll do best in a home with a dog or cats to keep him company. He’s playful—tug o’ war, ball fetching, or just tossing toys for his own amusement—but happiest when he’s by your side or cuddled up for a nap. He uses the doggie door, is completely crate trained, and learns new routines quickly. Fig walks nicely on a leash, is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, and does well with kids. He’s ready for his next chapter in Plano, TX and would love a family who’s ready for a playful, affectionate companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
