I’m a sensitive soul who’s still figuring things out. The shelter has been a little overwhelming for me, so I can come across as nervous or unsure at first. New people, loud noises, and lots of activity make me cautious, and I may need some time before I feel completely comfortable. But once I have a chance to settle in and trust my surroundings, my sweet personality really starts to shine. I do best with patient people who understand that I need an adjustment period and a calm environment where I can decompress at my own pace. Underneath my shy exterior, I’m a loving, intelligent poodle who wants to bond closely with my person. With consistency, kindness, and a little patience, I’ll blossom into a loyal companion who’s happiest curled up near the people I trust most.
