After a rough start in life, this resilient little guy is discovering just how good love and comfort can be and he’s soaking it up every chance he gets. It’s impossible not to smile around him! Alfredo is playful, affectionate, cuddly, and endlessly entertaining. He loves squeaky toys, bones, zooming around the yard, and then dramatically crashing into a nap curled up beside his favorite person. He’s happiest hanging out near his humans, whether that’s snuggled in bed, relaxing in his crate, or perched by the window keeping watch on the world outside. Because Alfredo is such a smart and observant dog, he thrives with gentle guidance and a patient routine that helps him feel secure and confident. He forms strong bonds with the people he trusts and will do best in a calmer home with older, respectful children or adults who understand that sensitive dogs blossom with kindness and consistency. He’s also quite the adventurous little guy and likes to explore, so a secure fenced yard is a must and supervised outdoor time will help keep him safe while he enjoys his zoomies. Alfredo does well with other dogs but doesn't like cats. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and has plenty of love to give to the lucky person who earns his trust.
