About Sunny
Sunny lost his home after his owner passed away and now finds himself needing a soft landing. At 14 years old, he doesn’t let his age or disability slow him down. Sunny is blind with detached retinas—he might sense some light, but otherwise relies on his other senses. He also has a grade 3 heart murmur. When he arrived, his skin was in rough shape with sores, but proper nutrition is helping him heal day by day. Even with these challenges, Sunny’s personality shines. He’s famously outgoing, extremely sweet, and loves seeking affection from anyone nearby. Sunny lived with other cats in the past and spent his life indoors. He’s happy to share space with fellow felines and is known for his gentle, social nature. Meetings at the shelter are by appointment. If you want to give Sunny the home and love he’s earned, reach out to arrange a visit. The right family can make all the difference for him. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
