Mr. Pretty has had a difficult life outdoors. Thankfully, he did have a family that cared for him, but as the years passed, the younger, tougher cats started to bully him. His caretaker was always there to support him when he was injured, but he was always desperate to escape…until this past Christmas. He came in for another short recovery period and decided he was ready to retire. He’s been the very sweetest boy ever since. The vet even said he is the bestest, sweetest boy they ever met! He loves attention, LOVES snacks (you can win this guy over with a little tuna anytime), and is so grateful to be warm, safe and indoors. Mr. Pretty is listed as special needs as he does have FIV. FIV is not scary, it just makes illness a little easier for him to catch. He will require an indoor only home and regular vet care. FIV is only contagious via deep bite wounds to other cats, so if you do have other cats, they just need to be friendly. Mr. Pretty was bullied enough outside, he’s not interested in any fights. Mr. Pretty is well loved by his caretakers, but their home is too hectic for him.
