About Spikey
Meet Spikey! As of early May 2026, he weighs about 10 lbs and is just 10 weeks old—a genuine puppy in every sense. Forget what his name suggests; Spikey is anything but prickly. He’s incredibly friendly, gets along well with other dogs, and has the kind of gentle temperament that usually fits easily into homes with kids or cats. He’s sweet-natured, and doesn’t mind being dressed up in onesie pajamas—proof he’s open to just about anything. Spikey has already visited the vet and his vaccinations are current. He’s looking for an adopter in the mid-Atlantic or Northeast. He’s fostered in Puerto Rico now, but the rescue arranges simple in-cabin flights to plenty of airports if you’re the right fit. Be ready for a young dog who still needs help learning routines and house training. Spikey is young, eager, and ready to bond with a family who can give him exercise, patience, and daily attention. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
