Meet our adorable 8-week-old small breed mix puppies! This sweet litter includes 5 girls and 2 boys, all currently searching for loving forever homes. Their mama, Petoskey, is a petite girl around 20 pounds, and based on the puppies’ current sizes, we expect they’ll stay relatively small as adults too. While their DNA results are still pending, one thing is already clear — these puppies inherited the softest little faces and the gentlest personalities. This litter has been wonderfully easygoing so far. Of course they enjoy playing, exploring, and romping around like puppies do, but they are especially known for being cuddly little lap dogs. The second you pick them up, they melt right into you for snuggles. They’re currently thriving in foster homes where they’re getting exposure to other dogs, cats, and children, helping them grow into well-socialized companions. A few of them have even gone on a camping trip already, where they proved to be curious, relaxed, and adaptable little adventurers. Crinkle toys are definitely a favorite, but these puppies are happiest curled up in your lap soaking up affection. After their mama came into rescue heavily pregnant from a hoarding situation, it’s incredibly special to see these puppies getting the safe, loving start they deserve — and knowing that cycle has ended for both Petoskey and her babies.
